My Tarot and Oracle collection with images, mini-reviews and my thoughts on the various decks
The Pamela Colman Smith Commemorative Set and the Giant Rider Waite deck
The Pamela Colman Smith Commemorative Set is perhaps my favorite version of the often called Rider-Waite-Smith deck. I have included the US Games' Giant version to show the difference in size between the two decks.
The Golden Tarot by Kat Black
This is another great Tarot deck of the Rider-Waite-Smith tradition. It is a digital collage deck composed of paintings from the 1200 to 1500 AD of the style and period called International Gothic, a term used to describe that which later evolved into the Renaissance.
The deck is gilded (i.e. the cards have gold edges) and is slightly larger than the typical standard size of Tarot decks.
Legacy of the Divine Tarot by Ciro Marchetti
Superlative digital artwork in the form of a Tarot deck in the Rider-Waite-Smith tradition. I personally often reach for this deck when I feel the need to stretch out towards the stars and the Universe. If I feel the answer to what I am searching for lies amongst the stars, this deck is ideally suited to do such a reading.
Mary-el Tarot by Marie White
The Mary-el Tarot is based on the three major Tarot traditions, the Rider-Waite-Smith tradition, the Marseille tradition and the Thoth tradition.
This Tarot deck is a magnificent piece of work and is well worth studying. The Mary-el Tarot is in my experience very accurate and very honest. It will take some effort to learn it however, because much of the symbology used in the deck is very different from any of the classic traditions.
